February 17th D-2/NAIA Weekend Recap

Micah Genter- Junior- Carson Newman

Had a monster day on Saturday going 2-3 with a HR, double, and an RBI in a win over #1 Tampa.

 

Gunnar Ricketts- Junior- Carson Newman

Had a big day on Saturday going 2-4 with a double, 2 runs scored, and 2 RBI in a win over #1 Tampa.

 

Brandon Mason- Senior- Tennessee Wesleyan

Brandon got the win on Saturday for Tennessee Wesleyan going 3 2/3 innings and giving up 1 run and striking out 7.

 

Jacob Justice- Senior- Bryan College

JJ had a good weekend going 5-12 with a double and 2 RBI in a 3-1 weekend for the Lions.  JJ is hitting .381 on the season with a HR.

 

Dylan Standifer- Freshman- Lee University

Standifer added his first collegiate home run on game 2 of the weekend against West Georgia.  He also added a double in game 2 for the Flames.

 

Logan Easley- Junior- University of Arkansas Fort Smith

Added a 2-4 game in game 3 including a triple against Tarleton.

 

Justen Freeman- Junior- Lee University

Came in and had a big pinch hit single for Lee University against West Georgia.
